Our Staff

  • Rebekah Cohen Morris, Esq. Executive Director

Rebekah Cohen Morris is the Executive Director of Aim Women’s Center and the Mother of Mercy Home. Before joining Aim, she served as a high school teacher in Atlanta, was elected to the Doraville City Council, and earned her law degree from Georgia State University.

“I love working at Aim because, unlike other social services, I don’t have to hide the one thing that truly transforms lives—the Gospel. I get to serve women not only by meeting their physical needs but by sharing the hope and healing found in Christ.” She lives in Steubenville with Andrew and their two daughters.

  • Monica Roderique, RN, Program Manager

Monica Nelson-Roderique grew up right here in Steubenville and earned her BSN from Franciscan University. After living away for 18 years—including two adventurous years in Japan—she returned home two years ago to be closer to family.

Her nursing career has taken her everywhere, from Cardiac Surgery ICU to L&D PACU.

Life at home is full and joyful with 4 amazing kids—Moira (18), Gianna (16), Damian (14), and Kateri (10)—plus 4 cats, 1 pup, and even a snake! Monica is blessed with 6 siblings and a big family that brings her incredible joy—especially her many nieces and nephews.

When she’s not caring for others, Monica loves anything outdoors—especially if animals are involved—mentoring youth, playing ultimate frisbee, dancing, holy hours, family adventures, and quiet evenings by the fire.

  • Katie Kissinger, Assistant Program Manager

I’m Katie Kissinger. I’ve spent the last 8 years serving those in need in our community. Before AIM, I worked to help adults with intellectual disabilities, and I worked very closely with the poor and addicted in Steubenville. For me, the common goal in serving all of these populations has always been to create opportunity. The biggest difference is that at AIM, we are giving many women the resources and support they need to become a mother by removing the obstacles and meeting the needs of both mom and baby
